Refund policy

We have a 30-day refund policy for online pre-orders, which means 30 days since placing your order request. You may cancel the order within that timeframe or (2-3 days prior to the event); whichever happens first. All you'll need to provide is a receipt or proof of purchase.

If you simply accidentally chose the wrong flavor or wrong size jar of salsa, reach out (create a ticket) through email at theslicksalsa@gmail.com or slickporcupine@gmail.com.

We are more than willing to get it all sorted out for you! 


If your refund is accepted, we’ll reach out to you and provide an estimate on when to expect the refund to return to your original payment.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards at this time.


Exchanges
This is a food based product, exchanges are limited, but available. Such instances include referenced under, Damages and issues above. Just provide the product in its condition as received. Once the return is accepted, a separate purchase will be made for the new item.

 

Refunds
Specific to pre-ordering our products online (Current Flavors and Upcoming New Flavors), if you change your mind in the 30 days since purchase or before the event takes place (given 2-3 days notice), you may request a refund. We will notify you once we’ve received your request and if it falls under the timeframe.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
